Hull City have denied any rumour that the club would enter administration after being relegted from the Premier League. Hull are currently in debt of £35 million and will face some tough restructuring over the summer.
Hull chairman Adam Pearson stated that “Administration is not on the agenda so we have to find another route.” While Pearson also answered questions that Hull City could face a points deduction next season when in the Championship. “It’s really difficult to give you an answer on that. I’m not trying to duck the question in anyway, it just depends on which route we take. But that would be one of the last scenarios.” said Pearson.
If Hull were to have a points deduction when in the Championship it could prove a difficult season as many key players will either be sold on or have to take big pay-cuts in order for Hull to try and balance their books.
