Football News: Nolberto Solano Arrested On Suspicion Of Rape
By Jon on Tuesday, 27th April 2010Leicester City midfielder Nolberto Solano has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
The former Newcastle United player, 35, was remanded in custody in the early hours of Monday morning after Police were called to a house in the Gosforth area of Newcastle.
The allegation was made by a 22-year-old woman from the city.
Solano, who joined Leicester City in January, has been released on bail whilst Northumbria Police continue their investigations.
