Blackpool have sealed promotion to the Premiership after beating Cardiff City in the the play-off final at Wembley. The match was built up to be a great match and a great advertisment to the Championship, and the first half didnt dissapoint with all goals coming in the first half.
Chopra gave Cardiff the lead with a great right footed finish across the goal from outside the box, but his goal didnt last long as Charlie Adam scored a wonderful free-kick to bring Blackpool level. Cardiff once again took the lead through Joe Ledley with another fine finish, before Gary Taylor-Fletcher levelled for the seasiders for the second time in the game. Blackpool got the winner just before the half time whistle as Brett Ormerod prodded the ball home after a goal line scramble.
