The Glazer family who currently own Manchester United Football Club have released a statement today stating that the club is not for sale and that they wouldn’t entertain any offers for the club.
Pressure has been mounting on the Glazer family for a while as an investement group going by the name of Red Knights have expressed an interest in buying the club. Many fans have joined the green and gold campaign, with many protests going on during and before matches last season.
David Gill has also recently said that he is now growing tired of the protests calling for the Glazer family to sell up. The Glazer family released a statement which read “The board noted recent press speculation regarding a possible bid for Manchester United. The owners remain fully committed to their long-term ownership of the club. Manchester United is not for sale and the owners will not entertain any offers.”
