It had been revealed earlier on today that Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote was looking to buy shares in Arsenal Football Club. But, the Nigerian businessman has released a statement stating that he is not planning a move to buy 15.9% shares in the football club.
It was reported that Mr Dangote may be interested in Lady Nina Bracewell-Smith’s shares, as she is looking to sell all of her shares.
Aliko Dangote released a statement saying “I have been involved in conversations around investment in the past. I can say categorically at this time that I have no intention of investing in the club and will not be acquiring a stake.”
