Crystal Palace have announced that they have signed former Juventus midfielder Edgar Davids on a pay as you play deal.

Crystal Palace only came out of administration today and havn’t wasted anytime in bringing in players as they sign the former Holland international.

Davids will not be able to play tomorrow as he wasn’t signed in time for all the documents to be sent and registered by the Football League, but the midfielder will be in the stands to watch his new team.

Edgar Davids told the Crystal Palace official website “It is an exciting time for me. I want to enjoy football and show what I can do.”
