Barnsley 2-0 Middlesbrough
Middlesbrough were very dissapointing on the road as Barnsley get the three points as Shackell gave the home side the lead on the half hour mark with Barnsley doubling their lead late on when Hammill scored in the 95th minute.
Derby County 2-2 Queens Park Rangers
A very late show from QPR was enough to earn the London side a draw at Derby. Commons gave Derby the lead 5 minutes before half time, with Bailey adding a second for County on the hour mark. With minutes to go Derby looked as if they were set to get all three points but goals from Agyemang and Mackie in the 93rd and 95th minute was enough to snatch a draw.
Doncaster Rovers 3-1 Hull City
Doncaster Rovers outplayed Hull City at home as they beat them by three goal to one. The home side took the lead in the second minute through Woods, but seven minutes later Barmby got an equaliser. Doncaster were awarded a penalty a minute before half time which Billy Sharp scored and Coppinger added a third in the 69th minute to get the home side all three points.
Ipswich Town 2-0 Bristol City
Two second half goals was enough for Ipswich to beat Bristol City at home this afternoon. Tamas Priskin gave Ipswich the lead just before the hour mark, and new signing Jason Scotland opening his account at the club when he scored 15 minutes from time.
Leicester City 1-2 Reading
Reading took the lead in the first half through Sigurdsson as he chipped the ball over the Leicester City goalkeeper. Leicester were booed off at half time as minutes into the second half Lloyd Dyer scored for the home side to equalise. With five minutes to go Matthew Mills headed Reading into the lead from a corner.
Millwall 3-1 Coventry City
Millwall kept their fantastic start to the season with a comfortable win at home against Coventry. Millwall took the lead through a Cranie own goal in the first half before Gunnarsson getting an equaliser on the hour mark. Baker then got sent off for Coventry in the 72 minute, and minutes later Trotter gave Millwall the lead. Morison then added the third from the spot 10 minutes from time.
Nottingham Forest 1-1 Norwich City
Forest’s dissapointing start to the new seaon continued as they could only draw with newly promoted Norwich at home. Dexter Blackstock gave the home side the lead from the penalty spot in the 35th minute. Seven minutes later though Crofts got an equaliser for the away side.
Portsmouth 0-2 Cardiff City
Portsmouth are now bottom of the Championship after a dissapointing defeat at home to Cardiff City. An own goal from Hayden Mullins gave Cardiff the lead, with Jay Bothroyd doubling the Welsh sides lead 4 minutes into the second half through Jay Bothroyd.
Scunthorpe United 3-0 Crystal Palace
The home side won comfortably at home against Crystal Palace with a three nil win. Forte opened the scoring in the 33rd minute and the striker got his second just before half-time to give Scunthorpe a comfortable lead. O’Connor scored a penalty in the 71st minute to finish off the goal scoring for Scunthorpe.
Sheffield United 1-0 Preston North End
New manager Gary Speed got a hard fought win at home against Preston. The only goal in the game coming from Calve in the 74th minute.
Watford 0-1 Leeds United
Leeds will go into the international break on a high with a comfortable 1-0 win away from home. The only goal of the game coming from Naylor in the 6th minute.
