A crazy last ten minutes cost Swansea at Carrow Road despite dominating for large parts of the game.
The visitors had wasted chances to take the lead through Pratley, Sinclair and Stephen Dobbie, but it was the best chance of their lot that ultimately would send them back to South Wales empty handed.
Substitute Andrea Orlandi threaded a delightful ball through to pace-man Sinclair who waltzed into the box and around Norwich ‘keeper John Ruddy who then clattered the winger and gave the Swans a penalty. Arguably Ruddy should have walked as the last man denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity, but a yellow was shown and an opportunity to redeem himself.
David Cotterill stepped up as he did last week against Preston but his shot was saved well by Ruddy to deny the Swans what would likely have been the winner.
However Norwich’s reaction stunned the Swans as an Anthony McNamee cross was turned into his own net by Welsh international defender Ashley Williams followed closely by Simeon Jackson securing all three points for the Canaries from a Grant Holt cross.
