Lithuania and Scotland had to settle for a 0-0 draw as they earn their first point of the qualifying campaign for the European Championships in 2012.
Recalled goalkeeper Allan McGregor made a good save to deny Saulius Mikoliunas, while at the other end Barry Robson was denied a goal twice as Zydrunas Karcemarskas blocked both shots.
Scotland had the last chance of the first half as Stephen McManus saw his volley go just wide of the post.
After the break it was Lithuania who were the most dangerous sides, but it was Scotland who had the best chances as both Kenny Miller and Steven Naismith failed to score.
